State tax filing

To look into this further and try to offer you an explanation, it would be helpful to have a diagnostic copy of the tax return experiencing the issue.  You can help by providing the diagnostic tax file.

 

This file will not contain personally identifiable information, only numbers related to your tax forms.  If you would like to provide us with the diagnostic file, follow the instructions below and post the token number along with which version of TurboTax you are using, and what state you are filing in a follow-up post.

 

To get a diagnostic file in TurboTax Online: 

  1. Open TurboTax Online
  2. Select  Tax Home in the left pane
  3. Select the dropdown to the right of any topic in the center of the screen
  4. Select  Continue or Pick up where you left off
  5. In the left pane, select the dropdown to the right of Tax Tools
  6. Select Tools
  7. Select Share my file with agent
  8. A pop-up message will appear
  9. Select OK 
  10. Another pop-up will appear with the token number.  Post the token number here
