State tax filing
Please follow the instructions below to get to the Oregon Kicker credit screens:
- Open your Colorado state return.
- Continue through your return until you reach the screen, Qualifying for the Colorado state sales tax refund. Click No for the question, Were you incarcerated in Colorado for 180 days or more in 2024? If the answer should be answered Yes, you do not qualify for the credit.
- On the next screen, answer Yes to the question, Will this return be filed by April 15, 2025 (or by October 15, 2025 if you file an extension)?
- On the next screen, it should say You're getting the Colorado sales tax refund!
Per the DR0104, the Tabor Credit is for full-year Colorado residents, born before 2006, or full-year Colorado residents who are under the ag... In addition, Individuals serving a sentence for a felony do not qualify for the credit if they were incarcerated for at least 180 days of the 12-month period ending on June 30 of the tax year.
The amount of the kicker credit depends on your modified AGI on Line 34 of the Colorado return. Please see the table below.
