If I was a part-time resident of Illinois and reported the state wages when filling out my W-2, do I still enter that amount when filling out the state part?
I'm now living in WA (no state income tax). When filling out my W-2 it initially said that I had a refund from IL, but after saying I was a part-time resident and inputting my state wages again (when it asked "How much of your -total income- did you earn while working or living in Illinois?") I now owe money. Should I be putting that amount there if I've already reported the amount I made in Illinois when I filled out the W2?
