State tax filing
The post that described the case in details is the following. I don't how to link them so I copy it here:
TurboTax put large negative and positive numbers +-(15 digits of 9s) in Sch P, p1-2 for CA State Return
I am using TurboTax Business for 2023. Both 1041 and NY State passed error checks without any issue. However, error check for CA State found too large or too small errors: After importing 1041 data into CA State, TT puts large negative and positive numbers +-(15 digits of 9s) in line 12, 13 of Sch P, p1-2. You only can override them, but still cause error. I have contacted TT Tech Support and spoke to 4 specialists but no solution.
My TT Business, NY State, CA State are up-to-date. My Windows 10 Pro is also up-to-date.
Researches lead me think it could be a bug in TT Business program for CA State, since it failed to treat negative numbers as zero for some entries when it should, which also messed up the calculations thereafter.
