No. Unless, you telecommute.
If you work outside the state as a job requirement, you are only subject to New Jersey State income tax on the days you work in NJ. But if you work outside NJ for your own convenience, you are subject to NJ State income tax on all that income. Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Delaware and New York have the same rule.
