It means that they need more information. They are difficult to get a hold of but start calling your local office to see what they need. We are still waiting for our refund, and actually didn't get a letter til March 24th 2016 after filing 01/23/2016. We faxed the additional information April 4th 2016 and still have to call weekly to see whats going on? As of 06/22/2016 is states that our refund was processed but not yet mailed/deposited. Please allow 4-6 weeks for it to be received.
Its a real mess when they say that there is more info needed because you go back to the bottom of the list to be processed for approval depending on when they receive the additional information.
