State tax filing
Just to clarify: VA can tax you as a non-resident on any income you earn from work physically performed within the State of Virginia.
If you have such income, you must file a non-resident VA tax return in addition to your home state CT tax return. In this situation CT will allow a credit for the taxes paid to VA on the dollars taxed by both, so in effect you won't be double-taxed.
