State tax filing
I also received a W-2 with $0 in box 1 as a live-in IHSS provider.
Social Security and Medicare Taxes were withheld in boxes 4 and 6. I think I read somewhere that when your IHSS income is non-taxable, you don't have to pay Social Security tax? Is this true? If so, how can I get a refund?
