NJ and DE part-time filing question
We moved to DE full time on 9/1 from NJ and it coincided with a job change, so NJ received my state taxes before 9/1 and DE received my state taxes after that. It is pretty clean for a part-time situation. I do have 1099-x income and a schedule C for a rental, but that rental income is after 9/1, as we rented our 2nd home in DE and moved into a new one full time.
My question is, can TurboTax handle part-time residency returns for DE? I only ask because I always used another popular tax application, and DE is one of 4 states they can't do part-time returns for. Is TurboTax different in that regard? I don't want to spend a lot of money to find out it cannot.
Thank you!
