I just e-filed Federal and RI but MA is not eligible for e-filing, with no specific reason. Some clues:
1. TT did erroneously bring over double income from W2 (it added RI and MA from box 16) so I had to override this when asked if it was correct.
2. I did not have this problem last year, even though box 16 also had the same amount for both states and TT did not bring over double income.
My guess is that this is a TT bug for 2023-4, but would love a more expert opinion.
