State tax filing
I followed the instructions provided by a turbotax reply to remove a leading zero or trailing zero. I mailed the forms into the state. Now it's a matter of wait and see.
NOTE:
In the 2022 TurboTax CT-1040 it did accept a 10 digit payer's number. Also, all previous Payer's numbers have been 10 digits. There should be guardrails on the data entry of Form 1099-R about the 10 digit number.
OPINION:
I really do not think the problem is resolved when I had to manually change the 10 digit number to a 9 digit number to override a bug in the TurboTax software. Because the error that was produced stated the Payer's number was over 10 digits when in fact it was 10. TurboTax claims it's 100% accurate when it's not.
