State tax filing
"For the 5 months that I lived in Minnesota, do I need to claim the Social Security income I received during those 5 months?"
If you're referring to your state tax return, the answer is YES. On your part-year resident MN tax return, you must claim all the income you received while you were a MN resident.
**Answers are correct to the best of my ability but do not constitute tax or legal advice.
