The Arkansas Homestead Tax Credit isn't something you claim on your state income tax return.
Rather, it allows eligible homeowners to reduce the amount of their real property taxes by up to $425 each year for a qualifying property. The amount of your property tax owed is based on the assessed value of your property, which is determined by your county assessor.
