Hi, I use turbo tax online. I e-filed my 2022 fed/state tax return back in early April 2023 and they were accepted back in April also. Today is 2/3/24 and I just prepared my amended 2022 taxes using turbo tax online. I got to the screen where I assumed I would start the e-file process. And the screen that popped up stated that I would have to print and mail my returns. I did talk to 2 different folks at turbo tax customer support and showed them my screen. They both consistently responded that e-filing an amended return in Turbo Tax Online was never an option and this screen stating that I would have to print and mail my amended returns is the correct screen. I didn't push the point about this. So I just wanted to come back and verify that e-filing 2022 amended return is open in turbo tax (2/3/24) before I call back again.
