If you have already filed and your return has been accepted, you cannot change it.
If your return has not been filed yet, you can go back and change your choice.
DoninGA provided the steps to change the choice for a Federal refund above.
To add, change or delete a current year state tax refund to next year's taxes:
- Go to your State section (Pennsylvania)
- Click through the interview to the Other Situations section
- Click "Revisit" next to Apply Refund to Next Year
- Delete any amount appearing in the box next to "Apply to 2024 Estimated Taxes"
