Didn't live or work in MA but have MA W-2
I lived in MA in 2022, but I still got a MA W-2 in 2023. There was no tax withheld, so I don't need a refund, but my W-2 is showing taxable wages in MA. I shouldn't owe anything to MA as my employer is in VA, so there is no longer any connection to MA.
Should I just file a non-resident return in MA to indicate I did not live or work in MA to show I owe no taxes?
