Hello community. First time asking here so thank you in advance. I live outside of the country and have not filed state taxes since I have no income. This past year I cashed out a life insurance policy and got a 1099-R, which was issued in the state of AZ, where I used to be a resident. Does receiving this 1099-R mean that I should file a state return?
