Probably not, because CT has a higher income tax rate than MA. However, you are still required to file a MA Income tax return, and will get a credit for taxes paid to CT. If that credit reduces your MA tax liability to zero, you won't owe MA Income tax. You file a CT non-resident return to determine your CT tax liability.
