You must e-file your Federal return and have it accepted before you can e-file your state return and the IRS is not accepting Federal returns for e-filing yet.
It is no longer possible to e-file state returns before the Federal return.
TurboTax is taking this measure to add an extra layer of security to all e-filed returns.
