Part-time resident of TX and NJ, and moved to NJ permanently, what percentage of TX income (1099-MISC) is to be reported when filing part-time resident NJ income tax?

Scenario:  Begin of year, I lived and worked in NJ from January to mid August.  I then moved to work in TX from September to late December.  I then moved back to NJ permanently in late December.  Am I correct to file a par-time NJ Resident Tax return?

If Yes, since all income from TX was earned in TX, is all TX income exempt from NJ tax?   I am using TurboTax Premier, and it only asked for the date when I moved permanently to NJ (12/24/2018).  It appears that no TX income from my 1099-MISC was considered taxable on NJ part-time resident return.  Is income earned in TX while in TX completely 100% exempt from NJ tax?
