I live in NH and I'm trying to Apportioning MA Taxes
I live in NH and work for a company in MA. I worked in the office last year 35 days. The rest I worked remote. I'm trying to apportion the income. MA information states to multiply gross income by the number of days I worked remote. Then divide by the total number of working days. (For me is 229 days). In TurboTax there is a box to fill in for "Total Income to Apportion" Is the my gross pay minus the pay from the calculation? EX. If I made ($100,000 * 35) / 229 = $15,283.84. Is that the "Total Income to Apportion" or $100,000 - $15,283.84 = $84,716.16 ?
