State tax filing
Are you sure you have the estimated payments reported in the correct spot? They would not be considered withholding, so the message you are getting makes me think they are entered as withholding and not estimated payments. Go back to the federal return and Review the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section. It is in the Deductions and Credits section. Make sure they are reported in the Estimates section, not Other Tax Paid.

- Answer YES
- 2022 State Estimated Payments - enter the dates and amounts of your payments. These payments are not considered withholding.
