State tax filing
Thank you. I don't serve in military, but I work for Department of Defense in the legal department.
So you are saying that this is MD sourced income. Do you have any source stating so? Because the MD posted announcement which says this:
"Maryland employer withholding requirements are not affected by the current shift from working on the employer’s premises to teleworking because taxability is determined by the employee’s physical presence"

I do not live in MD. The problem is I am getting double taxed per se because MA only gives a partial credit for MD taxes paid. I paid 3k to MD, MA only gives 1,200. However if there is no MD sourced income then I can get full a 3k refund of MD paid taxes.
Also, another expert in my post disagrees that this is MD sourced income.
