I prepared and submitted my New York State IT-204-LL on 2/18. A screen showing "Done! You've e-filed your New York partnership filing fee” was displayed and I assumed the e-filing went through.
When I went to e-file the Fed and NY State forms also on 2/18, it gave me a transmission error because the NY State forms were not ready to be accepted. I waited until 3/15 to e-file both Fed and NY State forms. Based on my experience last year, it took 2 days for ACH debit to occur; however, it did not happen this year.
On 3/18 after the debit didn’t happen, I went through the process again to submit the IT-204-LL through the TurboTax Business desktop app, and it gave me an error that I had passed the deadline. I am concerned that the first submission didn't go through because the e-file for partnerships was not ready on 2/18.
