State tax filing

No.  If the form 1099-K was added in your federal return then it should have automatically been added on your state form.  You should not have to enter the form 1099-K in the New Jersey return as a separate entry if properly entered on the federal return.

 

All state income figures are pulled from the federal return, so this income needs to be entered on your federal return first. TurboTax will transfer it to your state returns for you. You should enter the full amount of the 1099-K and deduct all of your related expenses.
