To Delete the NY state solar tax credit:
- Go to state taxes
- Then other-tax credits
- Then go to non/refundable credits and make sure the boxes do not have a value. If you have entered "0" in those boxes, they should be left blank.
- Then delete form IT-255, the form for solar and wind energy credit, in the tools section from the drop-down menu on the upper left of the screen.
