State tax filing

When you are entering your Personal Info (My Info) into TurboTax, as stated by bluedeb, there is a question that asks if you are legally blind.  If you answer Yes to this question, then you will receive an additional amount included with your standard deduction.

Revisit the My Info section on the left panel of the TurboTax Online screen and go through the page where your name is entered to find the question about being legally blind.

Or, go to the Personal Info > You and Your Family section of the CD/downloaded version of TurboTax and then Edit the information beside your name to find the question about being legally blind.

For reference, the additional deduction amount for being legally blind is $1750 if you are using the Single or Head of Household filing status.  The additional amount is $1400 if you are using the Married Filing Joint, Married Filing Separate, or Qualifying Widow(er) filing status.
