Was the US Railroad Retirement Board (RRB 1099-R) selected at the screen Who gave you a 1099-R?
If so, you should delete the RRB1099-R, then enter the correct information. Follow these steps.
- Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
- Down the left side of the screen, click on Wages & Income.
- Select Retirement Plans and Social Security, then IRA, 401(K), Pension plan withdrawals (1099-R).
- Click Start / Revisit to the right.
- Delete the incorrect form by clicking the delete trashcan to the right.
- Click Add another 1099-R to enter a new form.
