State tax filing

If you live in MD, capital gains from investments should be taxed in MD.

  • Did you enter investments from a 1099-B?
  • Did you check the box "I have other boxes on my 1099‑B to enter" and enter a state designation?
    • You can designate this as MD.
  • Otherwise, you will go through both state interviews and allocate the capital gains back to MD.
