Remote employee. Live in PA but office in MA. Income taxed in PA except RSUs taxes in MA. Confused how to file.
I used to work in MA. End of 2021 I became a remote employee and moved to PA. On my W2 for 2022 my income was all taxed in PA except for my RSUs which were taxed in MA.
- Is that correct or something I need to talk to HR about? Do I actually owe taxes in MA?
- When filing PA local taxes online, it asked if I should apply for "Out of state tax credits - Wage tax paid to other states in addition to PA". Does that apply to me here?
- Will I need to pay for the MA portion of my taxes through turbotax?
