State tax filing

If you move to Georgia and it becomes your main, primary home (your domicile in tax terminology), then by Georgia state law you have become a legal resident of Georgia.  You can have only one domicile at a time.

If you move to Georgia temporarily, but spend 183 days or more in Georgia, then for tax purposes you're considered a resident of Georgia.

Regardless of your residency status, any income you earn from work actually (physically) performed in Georgia is taxable by Georgia.
