I received notice that I had to file an amended return from the state. I completed the return and will send to the state this afternoon. When i completed my amended state return an amended federal return was generated. I have not received any notice from the IRS. Should I mail the amended federal return now with the appropriate note attached or wait until i am notified by the IRS and sent the amended return in at that time??
