The current issue, Unable to efile CA state return. this is on a PC installed using TurboTax CD / Windows OS.
The federal tax was filed and accepted. As I continued to work on the CA return since it has some complexities and wanted to review the state-specific entries.
When trying to efile the CA return, hitting errors.
1- When using file/electronic filing/check filing status system states You haven't E-Filed a Tax Return Yet. So, checked my email, and yes, federal was filed. I checked IRS, site shows a return accepted, this was 2 weeks ago.
1- When using file/electronic filing/check filing status history system states 'There is not electronic filing history at this time'
When filing a CA state return, cannot since federal was not filed. Yet, it was filed and accepted per the TurboTax email and IRS website.
Advice or a solution please would be great. thx
