Is the Form 1099-G for 2021 or for an earlier year?
If you received unemployment benefits in 2021, box 1 of the 1099-G should not be blank. The gross amount of unemployment benefits (before withholding) should be in box 1. If you did not receive unemployment benefits, why did you get a 1099-G from the Department of Labor?
Is there an amount in any other box of the 1099-G?
If you received unemployment benefits, and box 1 of your 1099-G is blank, the 1099-G is not filled out correctly. The bug is in the Department of Labor system, not in TurboTax.
