When i try to enter my amount of nonrefundable credits (which the amount is zero for qualifying dependents), they tell me it can not be zero, but i qualify for zero

I qualify for zero nonrefundable credits. i put zero, they say it can’t be zero and to leave it blank. when i leave it blank, it says it needs an answer, then the answer needs to be greater than zero????? i’m so frustrated and i’ve been trying to file for days and it won’t let me because of that one line.
