If this W-2 you’re referring to only had income earned in Virginia, as opposed to Virginia and Massachusetts, this would be fine.
If the W-2 combines income earned while in both states, you’ll need to do some partitioning. Please see the TurboTax Help article How do I allocate (split) income for a part-year state return? mentioned above for guidance.
