There was no corrected W2 issued. The problem is my son lived in WI, worked in WI. but the employee information on file with the company in WI was his Illinois address. He has a W2 IL state filing copy with an amount in box 17. He also has a W2 WI state filing copy and box 16 is 0 and box 17 is blank. I purchased the WI state filing from Turbo Tax thinking I would need to file the WI state taxes. I have no idea what I am doing at this point.
