I have lived in an Ohio school district that requires additional tax. It appears on my W2 that I had an amount withheld for this tax. Box 20 on one version of my W2 has the district in box 20 and an amount in box 19. I also have a W2 version with the city I live in with a different amount withheld (which is what was entered with W2 info for the 1099). If I am seeing a version of the W2 that includes this information, does that mean I had withheld some coverage of the tax? If that is accurate, how can I ensure I am accounting for the amount that appears to be withheld for the school district within the software?
