Virginia Social Security and $12K Tax Exemption for filers over age 65
I know about the Social Security exemption in Virginia, but just read in "Science A2Z" about a $12k exemption for filers over age 65. I can see the "Social Security subtraction" from Fed Adj Gross Income (**bleep**I) on my Turbo Tax Virginia tax return, but do not see the $12K exemption anywhere. Is there no such thing as a $12K exemption over 65 in Virginia? ...or do I just not see it on my Turbo Tax-prepared Virginia tax return?
