You should be able to go from then final portion of your federal return directly to the FILE portion of your TurboTax interview. Once there, you'll be able to elect to e-file only your federal return.
I did the same thing (except using the Desktop (CD/Download) platform. Please post back if you're unable to successfully e-file your federal tax return.
