State tax filing

Are you e-filing? If so, the e-filers like TurboTax do not send PDF forms to the IRS, instead, they send XML which is tagged data (i.e., not forms). So if you are e-filing, the IRS won't need those boxes.

In fact, in most places on your return, such information is X'd out on the printed copy of your return, because whoever you might give a copy to (mortgage company, etc) doesn't need to see your banking information anyway, so the RESERVED logo doesn't hurt anything.

This would be a problem only if you were going to print and mail the return, but then, I bet you would those boxes on your MO-1040.
