The only real help I can provide is what TT Support told me: "If you pay to file prior to the deadline, you've locked in your filing price, and then have the ability to actually remit the tax returns whenever you choose. The price will not change once it has been paid."
If you paid through Paypal then that is good news, as if TT gives you trouble, you can simple open a dispute with Paypal and tell them you paid for a service that wasn't rendered.
