State tax filing

There is no need to have the information inside the W2 however if you wanted to use the local income tax for a deduction on Schedule A, there is another way to make sure it gets included.  First remove it from your W2.

1. Sign into your TurboTax account
2. Select Deductions and Credits > Estimates and Other Taxes Paid > Income Taxes Paid 
3. Put your local tax paid in the slot for 'Withholding not already entered on a W-2 or 1099'
