State tax filing

@bigshot723  Yes if your Broker is Robinhood delete the form you auto imported, then  re add it but do it manually.  Then follow the prompts from turbo tax download the 1099B look at 1d- Proceeds totals  enter that number, when asked for the basis look at 1e- Cost, enter that number. For the dates you can put various if asked. If you have any wash sales it will say it on the 1099b make sure you put that number in as well.

Turbo tax has an option to add that too, once you do that turbo tax will ask for the copy to be uploaded. Do that then you are ready transfer that data over to the state. Then you can Efile and it should now accept it. That’s how I did mine and my state has been accepted for Efile. I do it like this every year. The auto import this year messed it up for me but I fixed it by doing it the manual way.

Also if you make more then 6 or 8 trades a year it makes sense to consolidate it and do it this way. If you have 100’s of trades and list each one with the auto import some states or maybe even on TT end can’t handle it and you will get errr with  that form asking you to update it with that 0 at the end. It won’t let you E file like that.
