I finished my taxes and filed, both federal and state (New Jersey where I live, and New York where I earned income).
Problem I have never before encountered in >10 years of TurboTax use:
The software allowed me to e-file everything (return status = pending), but when I went to save/download my taxes for my records, it says "Your New Jersey return(s) is currently unavailable to view, print, or download because some of the forms haven't been finalized yet."
There's an internet link to "notify me when my forms are ready", and when I click on it and enter my email, I get another error message saying "Unable to load messageid No forms or products have been specified."
Called TT customer support and got someone who was totally useless. She told me my concerns were legitimate. Thanks.
Anyone encountered this before? I'm assuming it doesn't bode well for the acceptance of my taxes by NJ if TT allowed me to e-file without all of the requisite forms.
I'm using the desktop version of TurboTax (Windows).
