Moved from a no state income tax state to a state with income taxes in 2021. How do I split earnings in no state income tax state vs my new state with state income tax?

I worked in Texas until 9/30/21 (no state income tax), started my job in South Carolina on 10/1/21 (state income tax).   I can provide paystubs that show the exact amount earned in each state.  My wife worked in Texas the entire year before moving to South Carolina (did not work in South Carolina).  It appears that Turbotax is treating our W2 earnings as if we earned our income in South Carolina, when it was only me for 3 months of the year.  I say this because when inputting my wife's W-2 info, the amount owed to the state shot up in the amount due calculation.  All of her earnings and my earnings for the first 9 months of the year should not be subject to South Carolina state income tax.
