State tax filing
I only had my W2, which is what I sent. And I recently called the Hawaii Taxation Dept. to confirm of they received my state taxes (which she told me she received the W2, but that I needed to send the N11 form). I was told the N11 form is the resident form I need to complete my state taxes. And yes this is for 2020, not this years 2021 state taxes. I mailed it via certified mail, on April 7, 2021, to Hawaii Department of Taxation, and yes they received it, however it's not the N11 form, it's a hard copy of my W2 with a copy of the receipt for the childs chair I was trying to claim. Turbo tax advised me 1 of 2 options, I could send payment for my state taxes, or not, and if I didn't I would be told how much I owe and I could pay it when I found out. Unfortunately I've been side tracked with issues in my life and forgot all about me state taxes, until I called today and found out I haven't completed my state taxes. I also didn't sign up for Audit Defense.
