Can I deduct the portion of my apartment I use for business when my w2 address is different?

I have an apartment and I use about 10% of the square footage to run my business. But... I also use my parents address as my permanent address for everything since it's a stable address and apartments are usually more temporary. I have a dayjob where I get a W2 which includes my parents address, since that's my "official" address. My question is, am I able to deduct the portion of my apartment as my home office? Or does that look weird? As far as I know, the IRS has no idea I even live in this apartment and I don't want it to look as if I'm trying to get extra deductions
