I have been working on tax returns for my two daughters, one of whom worked in Georgia in 2020 and the other worked in Oklahoma. I have completed their federal taxes using TurboTax Premier, but when I try to do their state taxes, it says it can't find the proper state software. The confusing thing is that when I try to complete the state return for the GA daughter, I get a message that "here's what we think your tax situation looks like" and it shows Georgia as a need and it says under "Other Installed states" that "TurboTax has the following states installed" and lists Oklahoma. That suggest to me that OK is installed. The problem is that when I go to do state taxes for the OK daughter, the messages are switched - it says I need OK but that GA is installed! When I try to pick the appropriate state for either daughter, it tries to sell it to me. Can anybody tell me what's going on? Can anybody tell me how I can tell what, if any, state software is really installed?
