MAKE SURE TO CHECK ALL THE W2's LISTED. My TurboTax kept saying that MY W2 was the one having the issue with the payer ID, and we tried everything everyone suggested and it still showed the error. After an hour of dealing with this, my husband thought to check his W2 and lo and behold, his W2 had a hyphen in it. We fixed his W2 and this resolved the issue, even though turbotax said very clearly that it was MY W2 that was the issue.
